TUESDAY OPEN STUDIO

Join us every Tuesday for Open Studio — a relaxed, come-as-you-are session where you can learn, create, and connect with fellow sewists in the Seattle area. Whether you're working on a personal project or just looking for a creative space to spend your evening, you're welcome here.

Utilize the space and supplies provided by The Loft on the Ave while enjoying the company of a community that shares your passion for making. Open Studio is the perfect way to keep your momentum going between classes, With friends or family, or simply make time for a craft you love. 

MATERIALS AVAILABLE:

• Cutting Matt/Table 
• Scissors
• Home sewing machines
• Industrial serger and straight stitch(Reservation) 
• Rotary Cutter
• Measuring tapes and Rulers
• Threads
• Leather corner rounder

YOU WILL NEED TO RESERVE MACHINE SEPARATELY. Machine Reservation is free of cost but you must reserve studio time in order to reserve machines. 

5 spaces per hour 2 hour block:  You must reserve in 2 hour blocks to help maintain the flow of space capacity. Note you do not need to use the whole block of time reserved but time will not be reallocated to you. you are dedicated to the time block you have reserved regardless of arrival time. 

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS

$15 per hour | 2 hour Max machine reservation  Reserve your machine online ahead of time to secure your spot. If machine is available online then it is a first come first serve basis Please be respectful and Considerate for peoples booking times, machine Bookings will receive a confirmation email with a time and date of there machine booking. Please keep it ready to show in case of mix ups. ( NO type of harassment or poor communication will be tolerated. Violators will be banned from the space)  

You must book in 2 hour blocks at a time: To keep consistent flow of work space and keep everything manageable for everyone please note that you must book space for 2 hours at a time. You do not need to use the full 2 hours but any time not used will be forfeited at the end of your session. 

There will not be an On-sight Instructor: This time is designed for you to come in and practice your craft at your own pace, you will be able to utilize all machines, patterns, and Materials (Fabric not Included) that the space has to offer but there will not be a Instructor at all times. 

Access to Building: Once reserved you will receive a email 24 hours prior to your Open studio time with Entrance instructions on how to access our hidden studio. 

DISCLAIMER: Please note there will be Cameras Monitoring the space for the safety of all.

IMPORTANT MACHINE RESERVATION INFORMATION: A LIST WILL BE POSTED AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY TUESDAY WITH MACHINE RESERVATIONS! If there is no name listed on a certain time slot then machine will be allocated at a first come first serve basis. please be courteous of other reserved slots and allow them there dedicated time on the machine. Violators will be restricted from the space. IF the reserved spot is late, machines may be used until the appointed reserver arrives for there reserved block.
